When you visit Krabi area and crave for some beaches (and who doesn't at times) you most likely end up the popular LP ones like Ao Nang, the nearby in walking distance Nopparathara beach, or just a longtail boat trip further, postcard darling Railay and his little, even prettier sister Phranang beach.

As till today nothing beats the three week summer holidays with my parents and brothers to the dutch seaside, the seemingly endless times of careless frolicking around in the always too cold surf of the North Sea while lost in my own little pirate world, perfectly alone or standing firm with my brother 'mates'.

Yeah, a lifetime with flip flops would’ve ruined my perfect baby toes but definitely would’ve sculpted a lasting smile on my face (and by now corresponding wrinkles).
